Romblon craftsmanship
For generations, the art of marble sculpting has been passed down through families in Romblon.
At Versilé, we work closely with fourth generation sculptors who have mastered the techniques of transforming raw marble into timeless pieces.
Each piece carries a story of dedication, skill, and the rich cultural heritage of Filipino craftsmanship.
The beginning of Versilé
Versilé began not in a studio, but by chance along the shores of Romblon.
A naturally smoothed, heart shaped piece of marble was found by the water, shaped over time by the sea. At first, it was simply used as an exfoliating stone. But something about its form felt familiar.
That moment sparked an idea.
Before bringing it to life, research was done and it was discovered that marble gua sha already existed in countries like Italy and the United States. But it had not yet found its place in the Philippines, especially not through the lens of Romblon marble and local craftsmanship.
With this in mind, work began with local sculptors to create the first pieces. The early versions were not perfect, as the form and purpose of the tool were still new to them. Through continuous refinement and design, the pieces slowly evolved.
After almost a year of development, Versilé was officially launched in April 2024.
Soon after, the Viola was introduced, a signature design exclusive to Versilé, shaped with intention and identity.
Today
In 2025, Versilé expanded to Manila to reach a growing community drawn to the beauty of marble rituals.
Today, Versilé Co continues to grow, proudly registered and built with purpose. Our pieces have been chosen for meaningful moments, from bridal entourage gifts to holiday gatherings shared with family.
Our marble gua shas are available for next day delivery, while other marble pieces are made upon order, allowing each one to be crafted with care and intention.
